Food is always more delicious when it's free. A moist, deliciously looking chocolate I spotted on my table. I took the knife from my cupboard and readied to slice the innocent cake in front of me. I'm really bad at slicing cake actually, so, I'm handing it over to jLO. As she sliced the cake into pieces, I couldn't remember how many times I have gulped silently to myself; i'm going to heaven! And this, thanks to Yantoi. Please tell me there's more to come.. =P

It's been a long time that I don't feel this way. Today is definitely splendid. I look at the wide sea and I find myself smile endlessly at the unending waves as if the waves came toward me and took all the worries, the hope, the desire in me. The feeling is so great yet deep. It washes everything inside of me away. I have come to realize that I have been thinking too much these while. I have lost myself of "i don't think, i just do it". From now on, I should start afresh; don't worry at things, don't give hope to anything or anyone and don't let the feeling of wanting things or anyone put its clouds over me..huh..

Discoloured Bank Notes of RM50

PETALING JAYA: A mechanical engineer had RM200 literally “washed away” when the print on his new RM50 notes disappeared after he accidentally left his wallet in the laundry.
Yeoh Jit Shiong, 25, was shocked to find that the damaged notes were almost unrecognisable on Saturday evening.
What remained were the security threads and watermarks.

Faded notes: The four new RM50 notes that were decolourised after they were left in the washing machine by mistake.

“The printing was completely washed off, including the serial number.

“What’s surprising is that an old RM50 note that got washed along with the new notes wasn’t damaged at all,” said Yeoh.

“If an old RM50 note can withstand being in a washing machine, why not the new RM50 note, which is supposed to be an improved, upgraded version?” he asked.

Yeoh had withdrawn RM300 in RM50 notes from an ATM in USJ earlier in the day.

He said the notes from the ATM were new and genuine.

“I used RM50 to pay the cashier at a petrol station, who validated it with a bank-note detector.

“With the serial numbers washed off, how am I going to take the notes back to the bank for an exchange?”

LONDON - HAVING extra weight on your behind, big hips and solid thighs 'is good for you", British researchers said on Tuesday.

Carrying fat on the hips, thighs and behind, rather than around the waist, has a range of health benefits and actively protects against diabetes and heart disease, experts at Oxford University said.

'Fat around the hips and thighs is good for you but around the tummy is bad,' said Dr Konstantinos Manolopoulos, one of three scientists behind the research, which was published in the International Journal of Obesity.

A big bottom is much better than carrying fat around the waist, which tends to release more harmful fatty acids into the body, the research shows. Belly fat also releases molecules called cytokines which trigger inflammation - raising the risk of diabetes and heart disease.

But fat carried on the thighs traps these harmful fatty acids and stops them from latching on to the liver and muscles and causing a range of health problems, including insulin resistance. Although fat around the thighs and backside tends to burn slower and be harder to shift, it can release beneficial hormones which protect the arteries and help blood sugar control, the research showed.

In an ideal world, the more fat around the thighs the better, providing the stomach stays slim, Dr Manolopoulos said. 'Unfortunately, you tend not to get one without the other,' he said. -- AFP
